The “Baltazar” at the Ranch
Come and experience the “Baltazar”,
established by German Immigrant
Balthazar Lich in 1869, the namesake of
the property. The compound consists of
the “Ranch House”, the “Bunk
House”, barns, pens, outbuildings
and the smokehouse. It was the ranch
headquarters until the 1970’s. It has
housed generations of Lichs and is still
owned and operated by descendents of
